Lorraine and the team encouarge social and relationship skills as well as independence at the breakfast/snack table. Both clubs have been designed with our children and parents in mind. Our aim is for children to be happy and comfortable whilst enyoying interacting with a number of children from a variety of year groups.
Please use the School Spider app to book a place for you child. The app offeres flexible pick-up times and allows parents to book a session right up until the evening before.
Breakfast Club
We offer a selection of healthy breakfast options including cereal, toast, fruit juice and milk- served until 8:20am. There is also an opportunity for the children to take part in a variety of activities.
After School Club
Starts immedietly after the school day: KS1 pupils are collected from their classes and KS2 make their way to the hall themselves. We have a sociable snack time providing a range of healthy snacks. Children can then access a variety of activities including: crafts, colouring, construction, sport and reading in the book corner.
Prices
Afterschool Club: £5.20 (4pm pick up), £9.25 (5pm pick up), £11.95 (6pm pick up)
Breakfast Club bookings are funded for children who are in receipt of Pupil Premium funding. This must still be booked via the app.
Parent quotes
"Both my sons have absolutely loved going to after school club over the years. They really enjoy being able to play with children from different years in a calm and fun environment. They are provided with yummy, varied snacks and are well cared for by Mrs Heal and all her team. I would not hestitate to recommed!"
SM
"My 2 children have been using the breakfast and after school club since they joined Hazeldown in 2020 which was a difficult time (Covid times). The morning and afternoon team have welcomed our 2 children with open arms! They enjoy having their breakfast and snack times where they're able to try different snacks than at home. I have just discovered that one of them likes watermelon! When ever we have had any concenrs, Mrs Heal is always happy to help. As a parent, it's important to know your children are in safe hands and are happy- which they certianly are here."
